What is Bethel Sozo?

This ministry is for our Church family

Bethel Sozo is a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry.

The main aim is to get to the root of those things hindering your personal connection with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

‘SOZO’ - is the Greek word which translated means ‘saved, healed, delivered.’

Salvation - ‘That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved (sozo).’ Romans 10:9

Healing - ‘But Jesus turning and seeing her said “Daughter take courage your faith has made you well” (sozo) and at once the woman was made well (sozo).’ Matthew 9:22

Deliverance - ‘And those who had seen it reported to them how the man who was demon possessed had been made well (sozo).’ Luke 8:36

By using a number of Sozo tools and following the lead of the Holy Spirit, wounds are healed, strongholds broken, truth revealed and doors are closed.

Sozo Background

The Bethel Sozo ministry began in Bethel Church in Redding, California and was founded by Dawna DeSilva and Teresa Liebscher.

In 2008 it was introduced in the UK with the first Bethel Sozo Training Conference. The US and UK Directors maintain a close connection as the ministry continues to grow.

Personal Sozo Ministry

Sessions can run from one and a half to two hours and are conducted by two team members.   The team, with the help of the Holy Spirit, will walk you through the process of freedom and wholeness.

Sozo is not counselling, but a time of interacting with Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

If you would like personal Sozo ministry, please speak to one of our Sozo team members for information on how to book a session.
